The misery of so-called “farm” animals exceeds the power of anyone’s imagination. For their entire short lives they are exploited for human gain while being deprived of fundamental needs. Then they are transported over thousands of miles without adequate care. They suffer from lack of space, thirst, hunger, heat, cold. Their last journey leads to the slaughterhouse, where they can hear, smell and see their imminent fate.

The animals need us. We need you.
Animals’ Angels is there with the animals. We have been doing the work of the authorities for more than ten years. Yet we do not receive a single Euro from government or EU bodies. Our involvement on behalf of the animals is not possible without donations from our friends and supporters. Our investigations can only continue as long as our friends support us. Without them – without you – our much needed work would be at an end. And no one else looks after the animals on the transports.
A few examples: We monitor compliance with the statutory provisions. We keep in touch with veterinarians, cooperate with the police and border authorities. We train highway police and inform them. We provide first aid in emergency situations. We document violations of the law and initiate legal proceedings.

Animals’ Angels e.V. is a registered charity. Donations and membership fees are tax-deductible in Germany. We send out contribution confirmations at the beginning of each new year starting at donations of 200 euro. At your request, we will do it immediately. For contributions below 200 euro proof of payment is sufficient for tax purposes.
All funds generated through donations are utilized strictly in accordance with the association’s principles, the objective being to end the long-distance transportation of animals.
