In February 2010, Spanish animal welfare organization ANDA and Animals’ Angels had demanded the transport license of a Spanish forwarder to be withdrawn due to serious, repeated infringements of the EU transport regulation over the past five years.

The Spanish authorities did nothing except to issue a reprimand.  Now, ANDA and Animals’ Angels again caught the forwarder transporting horses on a two-tier truck over 850km from Andalusia to Northern Spain.

Both organizations again demanded to withdraw the forwarder’s license for transporting live animals.
