Animals’ Angels attend the Mundijong Market where there are several poultry birds for sale, several small budgies, several ducks and ducklings, 4 guinea pigs, 4 rabbits and 7 pigs.

The handling of the pigs was observed as they were loaded onto a truck. Nothing unacceptable occurred.

Two boxes held too many birds and one box had wire mesh over the top, however the mesh was broken in places and wires poked through into the box. It was not safe for the birds. Most of the poultry handing was acceptable although one man who buys many roosters to kill at home handled the birds very roughly. Several people were asked to ensure there were ventilation holes in the boxes they provide and they did.
