06.06.2013 | Poland, Grodzisk Mazowiecki

Members of ‘Viva! Poland’ conduct a controlled purchase of two live fish in a supermarket in Grodzisk Mazowiecki. The fish are sold in plastic bags without water. They are bearing multiple wounds and scratches. They (we gave 'em the names Pawel and Magda) are taken straight to a water tank placed in a car to be delivered to a huge pond (where fishing is prohibited) where they are set free and will live up to their days. The sale was documented and will be subject to prosecution.
