Animals’ Angels inspects the animal cargo ship “Princess Hiyam” in the port of Cartagena in southern Spain.  This ship transports cattle, horses and sheep mostly between Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.  The passageways on the ship are extremely narrow, which implies a high risk of injury to bulls with horns.  The loading ramp which leads down to the first and second deck gives reason for particular concern:  it is steep and has high rungs.  Animals’ Angels will continue to monitor the transports of this ship.
