A team of Animals' Angels checks a transport of turkeys. Two or three animals are loaded per cage.  Some touch the ceiling with their heads and others even with their backs, while sitting. This means that throughout the journey they must stay in an awkward unnatural position. In addition, there is not enough free space above the animals for air circulation and to prevent injury during the jolts of the truck. In particular, one turkey, Yuri, is forced to sit on his ankles, he is strongly shivering. Animals’ Angels will complain to the Hungarian authorities in order to achieve that the turkeys are at least transported in accordance with the legislation.
