ANIMALS’ ANGELS are present when approx 24150 sheep and 70 cattle arrive on 39 transports to the port for loading onto the Ocean Drover which will take them to the Middle East or Turkey. The animals will be killed without pre-stunning. Many problems today, with an internal gate collapse which trapped sheep underneath, partial floor collapse on a truck, and generally unfit to export sheep arriving when these should have been removed at the feedlot.  State Compliance Inspectors are not at the port and, for some of the period we are observing AQIS are not available.
