The team of Viva! Interwencje, together with Viva!'s director and members of two other polish animal welfare NGOs, take part in a meeting held by Polish Supreme Audit Office. The NGOs take the opportunity to present their experiences and observations in the field of animal markets and transports investigations.
At this stage, we can disclose that grounds have been found for cooperation, which will hopefully produce valuable results later this year.
Supreme Audit Office is the highest ranking control authority in Poland, and it supervises all domains where public funds are invested. This fact alone, that the authority reached out to NGOs to discuss these particular topics, means that there is space for dialogue and hope for change for the 'farm' animals in Poland.
