Animals’ Angels is on an Italian highway near Bologna when it finds a truck with poultry in the night. Chickens are loaded but there is a serious problem: two of the containers broke down. From the outer side of the truck it is possible to see some dead chickens which got trapped. It is likely that other animals died and some others may be suffering. The driver appears not to be aware of the problem until AA informs him. He explains it is likely that the cages broke during the loading, moving them with the forklift. The team calls immediately the Police to intervene. The truck arrives at the slaughterhouse after about 6.5 hours of travelling and a patrol arrives to check the transport. AA will delve into the outcome of the police check to make responsibilities clear.
