Animals' Angels are present when approx 24150 sheep and 70 cattle arrive on 39 transports to the port for loading onto the Ocean Drover which will take them to the Middle East or Turkey. The animals will be killed without pre-stunning. Many problems: mostly associated with the lack of height for animals to stand naturally, overall numbers of sheep on the truck and the uneven penning of animals in the crate. One truck arrives with a dead sheep on board and other trucks with sheep that cannot get up off the floor. State Compliance Inspectors are not at the port and, for some of the period we note AQIS are not available.
