We are again at Mers El Kheir animal market where several thousands of animals are sold and slaughtered every Saturday.
After our plans for hosting an animal welfare workshop together with the mayor in course of Fantasia Festival have been blown off, we organize an improvised workshop today. Despite it not being as we expected, our message gets through to many people and we are even allowed to place our animal welfare posters inside one of the cafeterias. We are glad that many people ask questions and seem to be quite interested.
Still, we are aware that much work and patience lies ahead of us if we want to achieve something for the animals here.
