ANIMALS’ ANGELS observe and document approx 11250 sheep and 480 cattle on 23 transports at the port for loading onto the Maysora; which has arrived preloaded with animals from Adelaide. This is day two of loading in Fremantle. We are told the destination is Jordan where the animals will most likely be killed without pre-stunning. The unloading of the trucks and reloading onto the ship is not visible, and we concentrate on the transports. Lack of height for the sheep to stand naturally is clearly evident, and in two separate incidents, the legs of a sheep are caught which severely restricts their movement. The sheep is freed after intervention.
