The Animals’ Angels team in Morocco continues its activities at the huge market of Mers El Kheir. Little actions such as watering the animals exposed to the sun and giving food are our way of transmitting values such as kindness and compassion to owners and keepers and convince them that animals have the same basic needs as all living creatures, including us humans.
Ali and Habib dedicate their Saturday-mornings waking up early and going to the animal sector of the market to offer some momentary alleviation to donkeys and mules used to transport goods, and to chickens and ducks exposed for the local trade. After many Saturdays, they start to see they are 'contagious': people recognize them, thank them and some emulate them watering and feeding their animals. A small step for a big change.
