Animals’ Angels observes the arrival of Spanish sheep which were transported to Beirut (Lebanon) by ship.  After the enormous strain during this long journey the animals are reloaded on lorries to continue the transport.  The lorries are far off from European standards.  Animals’ Angels observes the unloading of one of the lorries at its destination.  The vehicle does not even have an unloading platform.  Therefore the animals have to get off the vehicle over a mountain of rubble.  Some of them fall down and get injured.  According to the information available to us these sheep will be slaughtered during the Islamic Feast of Sacrifice, which begins today.  This means that most probably they will be killed by having their throat slit without previous anaesthesia.
