A representative of our parter organisation Viva! Interwencje and of another polish NGO, Przystań Ocalenie, take part in a meeting held by the mayor of Bodzentyn.
The meeting is supposed to address the animal welfare problems at the market. The two NGOs give presentations, listing all law violations which have been recently observed as well as the prevailing ones.
They demand the implementation of the law to be observed or otherwise the market should be closed. This statement makes the farmers extremely angry. However, the representatives of police and county veterinarian in Kielce admitt that the implementation of the law should not be asked, but is demanded.
