While investigating long distance animal transports of lambs from Eastern Europe to Italy, our team spots a truck coming from Romania.

Our team finds that the lambs are bleating constantly and loudly, while some of them are biting the metal bars of the trucks, the bedding, the water nipples and even the fingers of the investigators. Again, some of the animals do not have enough space above their heads. Two lambs got their head stuck in a gap between the dividers and the truck. The team helps to free them.

Additionally, by having a closer look, our team finds that among these babies and young sheep, there are three lambs being unable to walk with all four legs. With this information, the team contacts the police and ask them to check the transport. The Italian police find irregularities in the transport.

Animals Angels will contact the Romanian authorities to notify them about this case requesting that lambs are not to be transported in inadequate conditions.
