The Charles Darwin University Australia welcomes Animals’ Angels project leader Dawn Lowe to the Animal Ethics Committee as its newest member.

The role of the committee being to consider then either reject or accept scientific studies which may be proposed by a government department, research group, private company or university. It also monitors research and teaching activities involving animals on behalf of the institution and approves guidelines for the care of animals that are bred, held and used for teaching or scientific purposes.
