A team of ‘Viva! Poland’, on behalf of Animals’ Angels, visitis Bodzentyn cattle market. The market operator again admitted emaciated cows into the market, as well as cows with dripping udders and overgrown hooves among the 250 animals in total. The team observes many cases of hitting and kicking the animals. Many cows are again tight-laced in large groups. Nearly 30 cows and calves are unloaded, loaded and even sold outside the market. The veterinary service’s supervision over the market is hardly noticeable. The city council will be again notified of observed violation.
