Following an invitation by the German Bundestag fraction Die Linke, Animals’ Angels runs a workshop at the Hessian Landtag. Within the conference titled "Animals are not a commodity!" current topics and positions in regard to animal welfare and animal rights are discussed.
Animals’ Angels refers about its experience with animal transport and the keeping of farm animals. The following discussion also turns on the fact that in politics, until now, animal welfare is addressed much more frequently than animal rights. Therefore, the conference is an important impulse for Die Linke to clarify their political position in regard to animal rights and animal welfare.
Animals’ Angels would like to thank Die Linke for their invitation and the possibility to have our experiences have some influence on the political debate.
