Animals' Angels, together with the Donkey Sanctuary (Refugio del Burrito, Spain), Barbary Macaque Awareness and Conservation (BMAC) and ANDA, hosts a workshop for the Moroccan rural population and the organizations’ employees.
The three-days workshop is focused on the handling of horses, donkeys and mules and the problems arising from poor and non-fitting harnesses, saddles and snaffles and how to avoid them. The workshop is a big success – Animals’ Angels enjoys the locals’ active participation, especially that of a group of young women from a mountain village.
As the lecturers and pupils liked to have had more time, Animals’ Angels and the Donkey Sanctuary are already planning the next workshop in Morocco.
