ANIMALS’ ANGELS attend a public lecture on animal welfare and ethics given by Peter Sandoe Professor of Bioethics at the University of Copenhagen. Peter presents number questions about the clear distinction between animal welfare science and the ethical view about what is right and wrong in our dealings with animals. The definition of animal welfare and the ethical assumptions affecting the study of welfare and how this relates directly to the difference in how we legally and ethically treat companion animals and companion animals is also addressed.
