A successful year! For one year we inspect animal markets throughout Poland together with our partner Viva! Poland. We documented and reported a vast number of deficiencies. Over and over problems were so serious that we contacted the authorities immediately on site. Many of our complaints are still being processed by the Polish authorities: the transport of downer cow Grace, the piglets stuffed in plastic bags, the rough treatment of chickens and ducks and the fishes kept much too constrained. Animals’ Angels and Viva! now met in Warsaw to plan the market project’s further steps. Additional investigations in Poland are already being prepared.
