Just less than 2000 cattle and calves are offered for sale at the Northern Victoria Livestock Exchange NVLX Barnawartha. The facility is under cover and the animals are held in pens that have soft floors and water troughs. The cattle are all fit for sale and the intended journey however, some of the penning is tight, the straw on some floors is overdue for replacement, some rubber edging along the races to the loading ramps should be replaced and the loading area is a a muddy slurry. The area is in our view dangerous to both drivers and animals.
