Animals’ Angels visits the undercover saleyard at Barnawartha where approx. 150 cattle are for sale. The numbers of animals is small because the Easter break is in the next few days. Some cows appear thin, but not emaciated. The condition of the other animals is satisfactory. The pens for the bulls allow room for them to move and lie down. Other yards use bull sale stalls that prevent movement. We observe a sheep on consignment who has a broken left hind leg. Management is notified, and they shoot the sheep. We submit a complaint as we do not believe the sheep was injured at the facility.
