Animals’ Angels visits the Muchea Livestock Center on Monday night to observe trucks delivering sheep and the density of sheep in selling pens and again on Tuesday to observe the density of sheep on the sale day. It appears there has been some improvement in that less sheep are held in the same pen. DPIRD have a formula/policy that says 25 % space in the total pen area should be free for the animals to move and or lie down. This seems to work.
