Animals’ Angels is invited to attend the Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) Update event held in Perth Western Australia. We meet with several key industry leaders who can influence other sectors of the industry, to discuss animal welfare and how best it can be improved in saleyards and transport. The sheep, cattle and goat industry here is large and there is not just one organisation who controls what happens, so it is important to meet with as many stakeholders as need be. Developing cooperative relationships is vital if we want to progress a sustainable welfare change by creating a shift from old ways to new ways.
