We made it! The Animals' Angels fundraising hike for the animals on the transports was a great success.
From 5 to 12 August 2024, Sven Strobel and Thorsten Dampf hiked along the picturesque Rennsteig trail in Thuringia under the motto ‘We sweat, you donate’. In 8 stages, Sven managed to cover an incredible 195 kilometres, Thorsten an impressive 96 kilometres in 4 stages.
During their hike, they laid out memorial cards for the animals that the Animals' Angels teams have encountered over the past few months. They also took the opportunity to talk to interested people about the important work of Animals' Angels and share their experiences on social media.
Thanks to the generous support of our donors, we have been able to raise almost €48,000 for our animal welfare work so far.
