The CRPI Team is at work distributing flyers and brochures at the temple and in surrounding villages. The Team provides information to small farmers and answers questions.
The belief is still wide-spread that the calves are not taken to slaughter from the temple, but are placed in goshalas (Indian “cow retirement homes”).
We tell the cattle owners the truth: Only if the farmers take responsibility for the calves will the situation improve for the animals.
