We are at the animal market in Chiquinquirá in Colombia. Almost 400 animals are for sale here today. We talk to the operator of the market: He is very interested in improving the infrastructure for the animals and to demand appropriate help from the mayor's office.
For this we are helping the operator and the authorities with some recommendations. During our last visits, we documented exactly where we see problems for the animals in Chiquinquirá - and what they can do better here. In the future, we also want to offer training and workshops for the children and adults. That way, we want to further develop their understanding of the needs of 'farm' animals at markets.
