On Friday, April 24, 2026, we had the opportunity to give a small, private lecture on animal transport in Viechtach, in the Bavarian Forest. Our speaker Yasmin was invited to talk about this important topic.
The lecture highlighted both the economic factors that make animal transport a significant industry and the often catastrophic consequences for the animals involved. Animal transport is only one stage in the lives of many animals, which in today’s livestock industry are often marked by considerable suffering.
Animals’ Angels has been working for many years on different levels to bring about improvements: directly on the ground during transports, in political discussions, and through awareness-raising at trade fairs, on social media, and through educational work in schools.
