Animals´ Angels, together with veterinarian Dr Alexander Rabitsch and the Lithuanian State Veterinary Service, organise a two-weeks training course in four different veterinary districts in Lithuania.
Though Lithuania has been supporting the 8 hours initiative to reduce long distance transports, Lithuanian farmers are involved in the problematic export of cattle to Turkey and of baby calves to Israel as well as to EU member states.
By putting together our experience and knowledge coming from different fields and point of views, we try to make a change and to reduce long distance transports and the suffering inherent to it.
Animals´ Angels appreciates the commitment and efforts of the participants and representatives of the central authority to cooperate and strenghten controls. We hope to make together a tangible difference in a very close future.
