The Animals’ Angels Hike for the Animals on Transport

We sweat – You donate

Under this motto, we’ll be lacing up our hiking boots for the fourth time in 2025.
This year’s Animals’ Angels fundraising hike will take us along the Heidschnuckenweg in the Lüneburg Heath: from August 9 to 16, 2025, we’ll cover a total of 223 kilometers from Hamburg to Celle.

For the animals on transport

At the heart of our hike are the animals on transport. On each stage of the journey, we aim to raise awareness about their suffering and the work our organization does on their behalf. We want to engage with people along the way and collect donations — true to our motto:

‘We sweat, you donate’

Last year, our hike along the Rennsteig raised nearly €60,000 to support the work of Animals’ Angels.
That’s the result we’re aiming to match — and that’s why we’re turning to you:

Solidarity with the animals

At the heart of Animals’ Angels’ work is solidarity with the animals on transport.

During our hike, we want to remember Clara, a pig from Denmark.
In the summer of 2024, she and her companions were transported to a slaughterhouse in Italy — in temperatures nearing 40 degrees Celsius.
