In response to an information concerning a neglected horse, the team of Viva! Interwencje, on behalf of Animals' Angels, accompanied by local veterinary service, inspects a property near Minsk Mazowiecki.

A horse is kept tethered most of the time, is fed wet hay and his shelter is in fact a tiny shed with holes in it's walls. On the floor, there is a huge pile of moulding manure.

The entire property is in a total mess, with junk pieces lying around everywhere. Among the junk, the team also finds two skinny dogs, Pikus and Perelka, chained very shortly to rickety shelters. One of the dogs is only provided a hanging piece of a blanket as shelter.

The team decides to immediately confiscate the dogs. The owner is ordered to immediately arrange for a new shelter for the horse.

After the dogs are delivered to a vet clinic, it turns out that Perelka suffers from pyometra and needs immediate surgery. If she had not been confiscated, she would probably have died within a couple of days.
