Animal Transports

Every 'farm' animal is transported at least once in its life – that is to say, to the slaughterhouse. In 'livestock farming', as in all branches of industry, money is the primary concern. Therefore, the animals are transported to where the highest profits await – even over days and weeks and thousands of kilometres. All too often these transports take place under cruel conditions. The longer they last, the more the animals suffer.
