Animals' Angels is welcomed by Lithuanian State Food and Veterinary Service to discuss the need for a new Regulation to protect transported animals.
In fact, the existing legislation proved to be unenforced after more than ten years of application and many parts of it are unenforceable in reality. Animals´ Angels conducted numerous investigations in these ten years bringing evidence to this truth and brings many examples to the Lithuanian authorities.
The representatives of the National Veterinary Service are aware of the irreparable shortcomings of the present legislation and declare to support our request to change the law in order to ensure more concrete protection to animals during transport.
