The team of Viva! Interwencje inspects another goat husbandry. Despite clear orders have been given to the owner two weeks before, she did not fulfill any of them.
This time, the team, together with the city council official, veterinary service, and an independent veterinarian, manages to enter the property and have a close look at the situation. The goats have only a rickety building made of loose bricks for shelter. Two of them suffer from severe mastitis, another two bear symptoms of diarrhoea, and several other have skin disorders.
More than 10 dogs are kept chained without sufficient shelter. The entire property is full of trash and pieces of junk lying around. Unfortunately, the city council stalls for time, and makes the entire case as long as possible.
According to polish law, the local authority must take the responsibility to confiscate the animals in such a situation. The team and their lawyer will take all steps necessary to speed up the decision making process.
