Animals' Angels visits the VPSCA ‚Kindness Farm’ in India, a safe home for the cattle who have been confiscated from illegal slaughter transports or donated to the temple as ‘sacrificial’ animals.
The shelter is located outside the large city Visakhapatnam and provides space for cattle, horses, pigs, dogs, cats and poultry. A new project has been launched to convert the generated cow dung to energy and fertilizer. The biogas plant is being nearly finished and the newly built composter gains organic fertilizer for cultivating feedstuff, vegetables and fruits.
