The saleyard offers approximately 27000 sheep and lambs for sale. Many sheep in many pens are unable to move, and some sheep are pinned under other animals. We identify approximately 6 sheep who are unable to bear weight on a leg in the sale pens. All are destroyed. In the cattle area many pens are a mud-bog. The cattle were sold earlier in the week and have been moved although there is a pen of cows and a pen of 6 or so buffalo which is unusual to see. We will record the events in our report.
