Our Indian team of VSPCA/Animals’ Angels has been invited to give training courses to relevant authorities on the "Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act". The training courses are organised by government officials and take place in Vijayawada, the state capital of Andhra Pradesh.
The courses are a crucial step on the way to more protection for animals and a better enforcement of existing legislation. The first course has been attended by Animal Husbandry Officers and was held at 19th February 2015. Training courses for the Police and the Road Transport Authorities will follow shortly.
