Animals' Angels chairs the Middle East Working Group of the International Coalition for Animal Welfare (ICFAW) and is representing the group at the World Animal Health Organization's (WOAH) Middle East Commission Conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. WOAH representatives repeatedly emphasize the link between animal health and welfare, and the World Bank representative once again makes the case that animal welfare is not a cost, but an investment.
We are glad that animal welfare is slowly starting to take root in the region and on behalf of ICFAW we offer our support to countries in the Middle East region in all areas of animal welfare. We also have the opportunity to present our camel project again during the poster session.
