For the past three days, the Africa Animal Welfare Conference 2021 has been taking place in Accra, Ghana. In the Session "Trends in Education, Training, Research and Innovation", Animals' Angels presents its education project in Tanzania. In our presentation we emphasise the great importance of animal welfare inspections at markets. We introduce our comprehensive training material for prospective animal welfare inspectors and explain how the materials are applied on the ground. We are particularly pleased that our project was singled out in the subsequent discussion as a good example of animal welfare training to society.
