Animals' Angels is with the animals at the market in Zipaquira, Colombia. We check if the situation at the market has improved for the animals. Every time we go to the market, there are more animals for sale. Today there are more than 650 cattle.
The already known problems still exist: There is hardly any water for the animals and some cattle are in very poor physical condition. We distribute our new animal welfare flyer and try to talk to the traders and farmers. We know that there is a long way to go here - but we will continue to push for improvements and also hold the market management accountable. We firmly believe that with direct talks and a regular presence here, we can achieve a better human-animal relationship in the long term.
