Together with the Greens/EFA in the European Parliament, we are putting pressure on the EU Commission. This is because it had long wanted to have presented the draft law for the revision of the Animal Welfare Transport Regulation EC 01/2005. But the process has now been postponed until the end of 2023 - a bitter setback for the animals on the transports.
The Greens promptly organize a meeting with representatives of animal welfare organizations and veterinarians to make it clear to the EU Commission that it is high time to act. Animals' Angels is very grateful for this initiative, which makes our common concern for the animals heard at EU level.
